The College Club of Cleveland, despite its name, was never affiliated with a college or university. Originally an all-women’s social club formed in 1897, the club promoted the social, philanthropic, and literary interests of Cleveland’s college-educated women. When crafting its brand with developer WXZ, we paired the site’s historic roots with their contemporary ambition to create a diverse community of new townhomes and rental units in the club’s original mansion.
