Destination Sandusky represents one of the best coastal towns in the U.S. It might be news to outsiders, but the North Coast has a rich and dynamic ecosystem as well as a historic downtown with lots of small-town American charm.
We sought to create a visual language that feels both contemporary and reflective of 200+ years of history, finding inspiration in the city’s unique street plan and in the mid-century industrial typography of downtown.
Although Sandusky is commonly thought of as a summer destination, the brand identity is intended to help the marketing team communicate the diverse, year-round activities available in the area.
